We love spoiling our guests. This is particularly true of our cuisine. We focus on top quality and on locally sourced products. We work with our selected companies in order to offer varied dishes with a genuine taste. Taste you can savour in every mouthful. You'll notice the difference.
Apples are a gift from nature, made from sunshine, water and the power of the Earth. Thomas Kohl and his team are based at almost 1,000 metres above sea level, up on the Renon plateau in South Tyrol. They work to produce completely natural mountain apple juices: single variety juices, and cuvées made from mountain apple juice combined with the juice of other fruits or with delicious extracts.
Fruit juices as nature made them: 100% fruit, 100% organic. No sugars, no preservatives. This is the recipe for Eva organic juices, from Laces in the Val Venosta. A natural pleasure, bursting with fruit!
High-quality coffee beans from all over the world are brought to the Caroma plant at Fiè allo Sciliar, where they are gently roasted in a drum and carefully packaged to preserve all their flavour. Whether you prefer an espresso, a cappuccino or a plain coffee with your breakfast, you'll certainly be able to taste the difference.
Monthea open up a whole world of flavours with their range of organic infusions: herbal teas that are extra fruity and naturally coloured, or aromatic and calming.
The Batzen brewery in the old centre of Bolzano has been producing spiced beers and craft beers since 2012. These beers are some of the best you'll find in South Tyrol.
This small brewery in the Valle Aurina combines tradition with modernity and style. Their love of beer-making starts with choosing only the very best ingredients.
From fresh, crusty bread to traditional rye bread from the Val Pusteria or Val Venosta, and crunchy and delicious Schüttelbrot. Enjoy delicious fresh bread every day from the Happacher bakery.
Top quality from the best selected raw ingredients. This is the philosophy of Alpe Pragas in the Braies Valley. Only superior quality fruit is used in making these delicious compotes and fruit juices.
The Hintner family from Lahnhof Farm in the Valle di Casies have very strong ties with nature. They don't see their animals as some kind of production line, and believe that animals that feel good also provide us with better products. This is exactly in harmony with our philosophy.
The Sesto dairy has been in operation since 1926, and represents a perfect blend of tradition and modernity. Over the years, the dairy has built up considerable expertise in cheese-making, using the milk from mountain farms to produce their tasty specialities.
There are 10 cows on 5 hectares of land at the Moarhof farm in the Tures and Aurina Valleys, and Roland and Claudia Eder use their milk to make top quality butter and cheese. The close link between the product and its place of origin helps give it that excellent taste.
Sonja and Andreas Villgrater from the Unteroltlhof Farm discovered a real passion for keeping dairy animals. Their 50 goats and cows provide the milk from which they make their delicious products: fresh, soft and semi-hard cheeses from goat's milk, and semi-hard cheese from raw cow's milk.
The Schiefer family use natural resources with care at their fish farm in the Val Passiria. Whatever they take they also return, in line with their motto: "We raise our fish with love, we treat the environment with care, we work with our hands, and we give delight with genuine flavours."
The Villgrater butcher's in Sesto has been in business since 1963, providing very high quality meat. They still make sausages and other meat products by the old methods, and flavour them using the traditional recipes.
The Tschurtschenthaler family processes meat from their own animals, making a range of excellent products. This involves very short distances and ensures top quality. Specialities that show a love for the product and respect for its origin.
We at the Alpenblick like to focus on regional products, especially at breakfast-time. We source all our muesli and dried fruit from the Merano Mill. And, of course, we use their products when we need special cereals or flours for our recipes.
Many people enjoy a glass of grappa after a meal. That includes us! And of course, we want to offer you top quality here as well. We only use local producers from the South Tyrol craft distillers' association.
Would you prefer a fruity Gewürztraminer, or a Sylvaner with a refreshing touch of acidity? A full-bodied Lagrein, or a light, smooth Santa Maddalena? The South Tyrol winemakers of Vini Alto Adige have so much to offer. Most of the wines in our cellar are from South Tyrol.
